Folding Cartons with Unbending Standards

Meeting deadlines in a smoothly running folding carton plant depends on how an order flows through the plant. Speed depends on equipment that is matched in terms of sheet size. At J. R. Cole, our presses and die cutters run the same sheet size, so a job coming out of the pressroom can run on any of our die cutting presses.

Our newest Heidelberg press offers six print stations, plus a coating station with many high tech features that shorten make-ready and speed changeover. In addition, it offers an automatic inking system, quick registration and alcohol free operation (an environmental advantage).

With ultraviolet (UV) capabilities on each desk, this new press maximizes the availability of coatings. We can also switch from a conventional water-based coating to a UV coating, adding high gloss and greater scuff resistance.
